Biographie
Depuis trente ans, Gilles Trillard s'impose comme l'un des regards les plus recherchés de la photographie de décoration et d'hôtellerie de luxe, en France et à l'étranger. Son objectif a saisi les intérieurs des plus grandes maisons hôtelières, du palace parisien au lodge isolé du Botswana, sublimant à chaque fois la matière, la lumière et le caractère propre d'un lieu.
For thirty years, Gilles Trillard has stood out as one of the most sought-after names in luxury decoration and hospitality photography, in France and abroad. His lens has captured the interiors of the world's finest hotels, from Parisian palaces to a remote lodge in Botswana, each time elevating the material, light and character of a place.
Approche
Chaque reportage est pensé pour mettre en avant les atouts des lieux photographiés : le travail de la lumière, le choix du design et des œuvres d'art, la mise en évidence de l'architecture intérieure. Illustrer par des cadrages et des ambiances subtiles l'âme d'un lieu, tout en traduisant l'intention des décorateurs par un story-board. Son expertise et sa sensibilité lui permettent d'offrir un travail de grande qualité.
Each shoot is designed to highlight the strengths of the spaces photographed: the treatment of light, the choice of design and artworks, the emphasis on interior architecture. Through subtle framing and atmospheres, it captures the soul of a place, while conveying the decorators' intention through a story-board. His expertise and sensitivity allow him to deliver work of the highest quality.

Son travail est régulièrement publié dans la presse prestigieuse : Elle Décoration, Côté Sud, Côté Paris, House and Garden.
Il signe également trois beaux livres consacrés à l'art de vivre et au style XVIIIe, coécrits avec la journaliste Michèle Lalande et publiés aux Éditions de la Martinière : Le XVIIIe siècle retrouvé, Secrets d'intérieurs (2007) et L'esprit XVIIIe aujourd'hui (2010).
His work is regularly featured in the prestigious press: Elle Décoration, Côté Sud, Côté Paris, House and Garden.
He has also co-authored three illustrated books on 18th-century style and living with journalist Michèle Lalande, published by Éditions de la Martinière: Le XVIIIe siècle retrouvé, Secrets d'intérieurs (2007) and L'esprit XVIIIe aujourd'hui (2010).
